Mother’s Day was actually relaxing. Rick went to Sam’s club and got all the shopping done for me while I sat on my dead ass at home. Trey’s friend was over (he spent the night) because his mother wanted some peace and quiet (hee!). We basically did nothing but be lazy all day and it was good. I fixed dinner which was a pork tenderloin, baked corn, and Pioneer Woman’s spicy macaroni & cheese. The pork tenderloin was roasted with a mixture of honey, Russian salad dressing and onion soup mix. It was freaking fabulous. I wasn’t overly thrilled with the spicy macaroni & cheese, but I think that’s because I like my mac and cheese made with sharp cheddar and Velveeta. But I was all happy to find that there wasn’t much of anything leftover. Only the mac & cheese, but I made a shit-ton of that.
After dinner Rick and I ran out and got me a Sansa Fuse because I really liked the one we got my mother. It’s really user friendly and it has voice recording (perfect for me when I need to remember something!). I loved my iPod Nano, but this Sansa Fuse is more my style. It also has FM radio which is pretty cool.
I don’t have anything else to write about!
I’m outta here.
